Covid-19

As always the safety and wellbeing of our visitors, team members and community is our top priority. We’re taking all necessary precautions to prevent the spread of COVID-19.  This includes mandatory QR code scanning, wearing of face masks, restriction on numbers in certain areas, cashless transactions, social distancing protocols, as well as robust cleaning processes. Currently MTG Hawke’s Bay is open to vaccinated and non-vaccinated visitors until further information is outlined by the Government. Any tickets purchased for an event affected by a change in Covid levels will be refunded.

Century Theatre Events

The Century Theatre, built in 1977 as a concert chamber to commemorate Napier’s first century as a city, is the setting for the museum's performing arts, film and talks programme. The Theatre bar opens one hour before every show and sells a range of confectionery, alcohol and non-alcoholic beverages.
