MTG Hawke’s Bay is located at 1 Tennyson Street, Napier on the corner of Marine Parade and Tennyson Streets. Please enter through the main doors on Tennyson Street and introduce yourself to the Customer Service Team.
Parking is available on the sea-ward side of Marine Parade (free for two hours). The streets adjacent to the Museum, Theatre and Gallery are metered.
Coaches and buses visiting MTG Hawke’s Bay may use the bus stop located on Marine Parade adjacent to the MTG theatre entrance. Coaches and buses will need to relocate their vehicles for parking after dropping passengers off at this bus stop.

It is recommended that drivers carefully plan any passenger drops and bus parking requirements as it may take some time to effectively park and transit from a bus.
Napier is a main city in the Hawke’s Bay region, located on the east coast of the North Island, New Zealand.
The Museum, Theatre and Gallery that comprises MTG Hawke’s Bay is located in the town centre of Napier on the corner of Marine Parade and Tennyson Streets.
The main entrance and MTG shop are located at 1 Tennyson Street, corner of Marine Parade and Tennyson Streets.
The Theatre and Ticketng Box Office can also be accessed via Herschell Street via the deck or ramp (disabled access).
For evening performances in the Theatre please use the Marine Parade and Herschell Street entrances.
MTG Hawke’s Bay is located at 1 Tennyson Street on the corner of Marine Parade and Tennyson Streets in the town centre and walking distance from bus stops and hotels. Walk toward the waterfront (Marine Parade) from Tennyson and Emerson Streets.
Hawke’s Bay has over 160km of bike trails. If you are cycling the Water Ride marked on the HB Trails map make sure you stop off at the MTG for a visit. You'll find bike racks located handy to the entrance.
Hawke’s Bays GO Bus services run frequently around the city suburbs and nearby Hastings and Havelock North. The closest bus stop to MTG is at the Napier Public Library on Dalton Street. For more information on bus stops, times and fares see the Go Bus website.
