COVID-19 Update
The situation with COVID-19 is rapidly evolving.
Your health and wellbeing is our top priority, so we are monitoring the situation closely.
The museum remains open but we have cancelled all public events to safeguard staff, visitors and our wider community. This affects tours, workshops, school holiday programmes and events in the Century Theatre. Refunds will be given for all pre-paid events.
We will continue to deliver education programmes to school students, in line with Ministry of Education guidelines.
We are following all official advice and taking appropriate precautions to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
You are welcome to visit MTG, but if you feeling unwell please stay home.
