Covid-19 Update

The Government has recently announced changes to its Covid-19 traffic light framework, announcing that it will drop all requirements for My Vaccine Passes from 11.59pm Monday 4 April. We have made the decision to remove our requirements for My Vaccine Passes a little earlier than this date. With the other safety measures in place such as mask wearing, rapid antigen testing and vaccinations, we are confident that we can make this change earlier without exposing our staff or customers to any further health risk.

Therefore, from Saturday 26 March, a Vaccine Pass will not be required to visit MTG Hawke’s Bay or Century Theatre.

Our team will continue to follow Ministry of Health guidelines (face masks to be worn and physical distancing monitored) to protect you and ensure your visit to the MTG is a safe and enjoyable experience. We look forward to seeing you, however if you are feeling unwell, please hold off your visit until your symptoms clear to ensure the safety of our community and staff.

There may be guidance changes in the future which we will respond to as required and will keep you as informed as possible.
