Welcome to our award-winning museum, home of the region's taonga and other treasures.
We are pleased to announce that the remedial works have now been completed throughout the building and our team are busy reinstalling the galleries to be ready for re-opening MTG Hawke's Bay on Saturday 24 July.
To celebrate, we have a weekend of activities planned including new exhibitions, performances, children’s activities and activations throughout the museum, and we'd love for you to come along. More information will follow as we approach the opening date.
