The museum, exhibition spaces and theatre are accessible. External flat level entrances to the main entrance are on Tennyson Street.
There are two accessible entrances into the building;
Through the main entrance on 1 Tennyson Street and from the Theatre foyer from Marine Parade.
Please note that for evening performances in the Theatre please use the Marine Parade entrance for accessible access.
Wheelchairs may be borrowed from the main reception desk. Please ring first to ensure that one is available.
There is lift access to the upper and lower galleries from the main reception foyer.
Accessible parking is located on Herschell Street.
Wheelchair access is through the main entrance on Tennyson Street and the Theatre foyer from Marine Parade.
For evening performances in the Theatre please use the Marine Parade entrance.
The Theatre auditorium is accessible through the main entrance. An upper entrance into the Theatre requires going upstairs. The balcony level has no lift access and steep stair access.
If you are in a wheelchair please ring us in advance so suitable seating can be arranged, please arrive early to Theatre events so you can be seated. For ticketed events contact us or Ticketek to book a seat suitable for wheelchairs.
