Bring your class to study the Port as a case study for the NZCEA Economics paper AS 90988.
We explore the role of the Port as a tertiary sector player vital to the cycle of imports and exports and consequently the economic wealth of the region and New Zealand. Learn about the Port’s long history, some terminology and understand what happens there.
Assessment task for students supplied.
Although we are unable to go onto the wharves, Port personnel will meet and discuss on Bluff Hill afterwards or at another time if needed.
