Welcome to our award-winning museum, home of the region's taonga and other treasures.
We're pleased to advise that remedial works on the sprinkler system in the area of the MTG building that is occupied by the library are now complete and the Napier Library team will be back soon and welcoming their community once more from Tuesday 13 April.
The Century Theatre has been up and running since late January and we've enjoyed seeing some new and regular faces at our museum’s pop-up shop in the theatre foyer.
Work continues on the MTG Hawke’s Bay side of the building and, once we've reinstalled our exhibition spaces, we're expecting to re-open in the middle of the year.
We would like to thank our MTG friends for their patience over the last few months while work has been undertaken.
