All visits by school groups including self-guided groups must be pre-booked through our Educators.
MTG Hawke’s Bay is located at 1 Tennyson Street, Napier on the corner of Marine Parade and Tennyson Streets. Please enter through the main doors on Tennyson Street and introduce yourself to the Customer Service Team.
Parking is available on the sea-ward side of Marine Parade (free for two hours). The streets adjacent to the Museum, Theatre and Gallery are metered.
Coaches and buses visiting MTG Hawke’s Bay may use the bus stop located on Marine Parade adjacent to the MTG theatre entrance. Coaches and buses will need to relocate their vehicles for parking after dropping passengers off at this bus stop.

It is recommended that drivers carefully plan any passenger drops and bus parking requirements as it may take some time to effectively park and transit from a bus.
MTG Hawke’s Bay has access for all with external flat level entrances to the main entrance on Tennyson Street.

We will invoice the school after your visit based on the number of students attending on the day. Alternatively, you can pay on the day to the front of house cashiers with cash, EFTPOS or a cheque made out to Napier City Council.
