Learn about Victorian burial rituals, the symbolism of the monumental masons, and the different styles of graves seen. Visit the graves of some notable early settlers to New Zealand including William Colenso, the Rev. William Williams, and Donald McLean to learn about their contribution to Napier society,the times in which they lived, and also their deaths. Some other little - known characters have their stories told.
